FROST PEACH

In our orchard is a young Frost Peach. It's a tree of prodigious productivity, a prolific fruiter, a genius of creativity, a true peach of a peach tree. Picked and eaten in the orchard, peaches from this tree are the summers finest fruit. The branches strain under the weight.

In fact, the branches break. Actually they shatter. The burden of its' productivity overwhelms the strength of its wood. It is a common handicap easily overcome by thinning of the fruit early in the season. But then its genius is not realized. So, we support the fruit bearing branches with orchard poles instead. We celebrate all of its fruit.

So it is with each of us. We are given gifts. We create, we sing, we build, we love. With the support of of our friends, families, our community, we thrive. In our orchard broken branches bear no fruit.
